The ASR Conference
„WELDING 2008 – Materials, equipment and
welding processes”

Romanian Welding Society (ASR) organized at Buzau (Pietroasa Hotel) between the 17 -19th of September 2008, the Conference „WELDING 2008 – Materials, equipment and welding processes”.
At the Conference 124 persons (ASR members and nonmembers) participated. In the Conference programme were 23 papers that had been published in conference proceedings. The proceedings were distributed to the conference participants.
The conference was opened by ASR president, Prof. Emil Constantin.
On the same date, there were celebrated 40 years of tradition, quality and innovation in welding at DUCTIL Buzau.

In the end, there was a technical visit at DUCTIL SA Buzau and a trip at Pietroasa Wine Cellar.
